It started with Android.
Long before it was a job, I was building Android apps on the side, first in Java and later in Kotlin. I published my first app while still in school, and got hooked on seeing something I made run in my hand.
The tiny details are my favourite part of the job: a tap that answers, a screen that hands off to the next. Here’s the story behind that, plus a few to play with.

The web felt limitless. Anything I built could open anywhere, on any device, just by sharing a link. I’ve been hooked ever since, and slowly worked my way from the front of the stack to everything behind it.
Software engineer by day, tinkerer by night. The details I care about aren’t only visual: a press that responds instantly, a page that loads before you notice, an API that answers in milliseconds. Speed is part of how something feels.
